As some of our tenants prepare to welcome employees back to their offices, we want to assure you of GWL Realty Advisors ongoing commitment to support our tenants and provide a safe environment in our buildings. This includes leveraging our vast resources to make numerous building enhancements such as improving air quality by extending HVAC equipment operations time, controlling humidity levels, and utilizing more efficient air filter replacements.

We recognize the current situation remains uncertain and will continue to take guidance from Public Health authorities. We also recognize that the journey back to our buildings may differ for each tenant and we remain committed to providing clear and current communication of any changes to building procedures or protocols.

Air Quality

All our buildings adhere to and, in many cases, exceed the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) standards, which are adopted by the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).

Cleaning

We will continue to provide our high standard of cleaning services throughout our buildings and have added resources and increased the frequency of cleaning in all high traffic and high touch areas.

Hand Hygiene Practices

We will continue to promote good hand hygiene practices in our buildings to maintain awareness and decrease the spread of COVID-19. Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout our buildings.

Physical Distancing

Physical distancing requirements, including elevator occupancy limitations, will be determined by local Public Health guidelines. We recognize the inconvenience reduced capacity in elevators may cause your employees and are committed to quickly adjusting services when these restrictions are relaxed.

Mask Wearing

Our staff will continue to wear masks and the appropriate PPE when entering tenant premises. Once provincial and municipal guidelines no longer require mask wearing, we may adjust our PPE protocols.

FAQ

You can expect a committed staff ready to welcome you back and support your transition back into the building. Our dedicated building operations and property management teams have been working hard throughout the pandemic to ensure the buildings are ready for your return. We are ready to have you back!

Reporting requirements for COVID-19 cases will vary by health authority, but Tenants are encouraged to notify Property Management of any confirmed COVID-19 cases within their premises so we can ensure full transparency with other tenants. Personal information will remain confidential.

While public health guidelines vary, signage will continue to be posted for the foreseeable future to assist tenants and visitors in following best practices and maintaining safe physical distance.

We have increased cleaning in all buildings with particular attention to high-touch areas such as entrance door handles, elevator buttons etc. Many of our buildings use medical-grade cleaning supplies to effectively sanitize common areas.

Common areas in the building will be sanitized. Additional cleaning of tenant premises is available upon for such additional services.

Privacy laws limit our ability to ask health questions and otherwise screen for medical conditions. We expect people entering the building to comply with all government and Public Health authority directives and protocols.
