At GWLRA, we recognize the stress and impact COVID-19 is having on your business.
We are committed to helping your small and independent business during this challenging time.
At GWLRA, we are doing everything we can to ensure our buildings are clean, safe, and accessible. Here are some of the steps we're taking:
Thorough Cleaning
Our cleaners continue to work hard on a daily basis to ensure our buildings are constantly cleaned and sanitized using medical-grade sanitization. Our team is also taking the time and care to carry out additional cleaning on high touch areas such as entrance doors, elevator kiosks and washroom doors.
Hand Sanitizer Dispensers
We have installed extra hand sanitizer stations throughout our buildings with particular emphasis on common areas.
Hand Hygiene Practices
We continue to promote good hand hygiene practices in our buildings to maintain awareness and decrease the unnecessary spread of COVID-19.
Work from home if possible, remain at home if you are sick, and keep a safe distance from anyone outside of your immediate household. Seek medical advice should you exhibit any symptoms of COVID-19 after having traveled, or if you have come into contact with others who have traveled or have shown symptoms. It is crucial that individuals follow quarantine and self-isolation recommendations properly to prevent transmission of COVID-19 to others in the building and/or community.
Physical distancing measures are approaches taken to minimize close contact with others in the community. If you are taking an elevator, walking through the lobby or any other common area of the building, please make a conscious effort to practice physical distancing and remain the recommended two metre distance from fellow tenants in order to keep everyone safe. Physical distancing cannot prevent 100% of transmissions, but by following these simple rules we can all play a critical role in slowing the spread of this virus.
Washing your hands is the best way to protect yourself and others. Wash hands often and thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or use an alcohol-based sanitizer if soap and water are not available. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. Keep your work area clean throughout the day by using disinfecting wipes.
We have increased cleaning in all buildings with particular attention to high touch point areas such as door handles, buttons, etc. Many of our buildings use medical-grade cleaning supplies to effectively sanitize common areas.
